Wright, Ward, Hatten & Guel traces its origin back to 1929 as A.L. Evans and Company. In the late 1950s, A.L. Evans and Company became Wright, Ward, and Hatten CPAs. After adding a new partner in the 1980s, Wright, Ward, Hatten, and Guel CPAs came about. Our office has been located in historic downtown Gulfport, Mississippi, since 1929.

Currently, our firm employs a staff of thirteen, including two principals and three professional staff members. In a professional service-oriented business, the quality of the service and of the firm is not necessarily based on the relative size of the organization but rather on the personnel of the firm. It is imperative for a firm to be large enough to handle a particular client's needs yet still maintain a high level of personalized service. Wright, Ward, Hatten & Guel has successfully built long-term relationships with our clients and has achieved a perfect balance of size and individualized service for more than 90 years.
